needmyLOGO: $50 Logo Designs. Affordable. Quality. Simple.

These tips and resources are to help you clarify what you're looking for in a logo and to help you better fill out the logo form.

Email Tips

It's very important that you enter accurately, an email address that you check often. This will be our only form of communication and there will likely be back and forth feedback needed to get your logo finished.

Wording Tips

Enter the name of the company/pruduct/service/artist etc. in which your logo is being created for along with a slogan (if applicable). Please provide the exact appearance of how your wording should be, including capitilization and spacing.

Do NOT just enter abc moving company (unless that's exactly how you'd like it to appear). But, perhaps you'd rather it appear as ABC Moving Company or maybe abcMovingCompany.

If you're not sure just enter the wording as best as you can and we'll try some different variations.

Font(s) Tips

Are there any specific fonts you would like used for your logo, or font styles; corporate, modern, clean, web 2.0, elegant, grunge etc.?

A few good websites to find/refer to fonts are: MyFonts and dafont.

If you can't find a font you like, you may leave blank and we'll try some different variations.

Color Selector Color(s) Tips

You may provide descriptive colors like; off white, dark red, army green etc. However, if possible, we would prefer if you could provide exact color codes (ex: #000000 = Black, #FFFFFF = White).

You can find color schemes and their corresponding codes on a few different websites: Adobe kuler, w3schools Color Codes or you may use our Color Selector by clicking on the color wheel next to the Color(s) Tips instructions header to select color codes, please comma separate.

If you're unsure of colors, leave blank and we'll try some different variations.

Size Tips

First, know that Width always goes before Height, so Width X Height.

For Web: Think in Pixels when measuring for the web. Download this free tool: Screen Calipers to measure on-screen, on your website for example the width and height of an area where you think your logo should go/fit. Show size like so: 300 X 125 Pixels.

For Print: Think in Inches or Feet when measuring for print. You'll want to take an actual tape measurer and measure the area (ex: sign, door lable, car door panel, banner etc.). Show size like so: 8 X 5 Inches OR Feet.

If you're unsure or unable to get a size, simply leave blank or give a reference to how big it should be.

Dislikes Tips

Is there anything that you specifically do NOT want in your logo; certain colors, fonts, styles, shapes, cliche's associated with your industry etc.?

Additional Details Tips

If applicable, please provide a link to your website, references of logos/styles you like etc.

Some great websites to look at and reference logos are: Brands of the World and logopond.

Please describe the design element wanted with your logo if applicable.
